Set Out with Intention

Goals are so last year. 2018 is about INTENTIONS. How about setting a vision and indulging in ambitions? Moving in alignment with your vision and pressing in the direction of your desires? Desires don’t have a set date. They aren’t pushy. They don’t leave you feeling like you’re proving something. They are meaningful

Do you want to feel fully alive? Empowered, energized and invigorated when you make a plan to actually DO what you’re longing to do? You need a vision: small and consistent habits or MEGA and bold dreams!

Having a dream inspires you and having a plan creates action. Even if you don’t achieve everything you set out to do, having a vision can set you in the right direction for transforming your life path.

“Without vision we perish.”

Proverbs
It’s not about changing who you are, it’s about feeling more like your true self. Having a vision is never just about the vision, it’s about how you grow along the way when you are willing to reach for what you really want deep down. Eliminating irrelevance and misplaced determination. Energizing. Persisting. Learning. Being present and recognizing possibility. Consciously participating in creating your reality. Soul-affirming not soul-sucking.

What you focus on magnifies. If you’re unfocused you are just treading water. Setting intentions and having a vision is an act of self-love.

“A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at.”

Bruce Lee
Do what you say you’re going to do. Decide to rise. Expand and explore your place in the universe. Drink in the endorphins. Nourish your soul.

Feb 26th Balsamic Moon: Reflection Questions

Reflection Questions

When you think back upon the last month what sticks out for you?

What were the most significant experiences, successes, challenges?

What would you like to create, or put your energy into, this coming month?

Did you write down your intentions for the year 2014? if so review them and see if these intentions are working for you. If not, it is not too late!

My Answers:

When you think back upon the last month what sticks out for you?
Nothing really went the way I intended it to go but organically it continued to flow together. Life will keep going regardless of my plans.

It was an emotional month and I learned how best to reach out and receive (as well as give) support.

What were the most significant experiences, successes, challenges?
*Client party with my friends (so much laughter!)
*Internet-free weekends
*Opening ceremony for the Olympics
*Found out about the Vida savings program
*Fabulous evening making seed-bombs at the HourEconomy potluck
*Was asked to house-sit for my old house for 5months
*Dinner with Caity’s family
*Moms birthday
*Amanda moved out
*Connecting with Katy
*Naked Lady swap

What would you like to create, or put your energy into, this coming month?
I want to go out and connect outwardly. Because it’s winter I’ve been staying in and connecting from home but I really want to be out and about.

I seriously want to MAKE things. I’m experiencing a blockage and need to just begin!

Did you write down your intentions for the year 2014? if so review them and see if these intentions are working for you. If not, it is not too late!

For March:
Fun:
•Visit animals at SPCA
•Get crafty

Service:
•Give 15% of income to charity

Work:
•Set timer when working
•Make at least $1250/month (trying to be debt free by July)

Health:
•No phone Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday
•Ask friends to come over and walk downtown with me

What I’m Building in 2014

20131207-123316.jpgthank you to Alexandra Franzen for the inspiration.

*In 2014, I am building:

A place to Find Encouragement & Uplifting Positivity
For successful women Devoted to a better life and better health

“Have Fun, Be Relaxed: You Can Do It.”

*This building — my body of work — will include a few very helpful offerings for the world, including:

•Massages: 2x a month &90-min sessions

•Simple Aromatherapy: space fizzies, coconut butter massage bars

•Collage Parties: with wine and friends

*In order to build what I want to build, I’ll need to release / remove a few things from my world, including:

•Helplessness (ask for help)
•Depression (reach out, be grateful)
•Overwhelm (one bite at a time)
•Procrastination (set timers)
•Clutter (get rid of things every month)

*Because what I really want to be known for is:

•Adding, not subtracting
•Laughing, not complaining
•Positivity, not criticizing
•Moving forward, not standing still

*When things start to feel overwhelming, I will keep it simple by reminding myself that my job is simply to:

Be generous.

*And by this time next year, I will be SO proud to have completed ONE big thing, which is:

Pay off my loans so I can be debt free!

And THAT is my plan for 2014.

What I Want from My 27th Year

20130703-154842.jpg

I most want to experience my life as a big expanding adventure that kicks ass.

I want to feel vibrant, sane, more like my ArtisticDrama self

I want to give myself a monthly massage, abs, vacations, things I consider grown-up things like: furniture, a car, a house

I give myself permission to rest, say yes, walk away, eat whatever I want

I promise myself I will use good judgement, be less negative, be less sarcastic, be more active, stay off the Internet

this will be the year that I conquer my SAD for good, road trip CA, figure out where I want my tattoo

I release feeling stupid when I am wrong, spending too much time on the Internet
